About the World Space Week Doodle
This World Space Week 2026 Doodle celebrates the technology behind awe-inspiring astrophotography. Today’s image shows a new view of the Rosebud Nebula from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope.
Located 3,300 light-years away, this reflection nebula is home to over 130 young stars. Its clouds of gas and dust form a physical shape resembling an unopened, blooming rosebud, glowing rosy-pink from dust heated by these stars.
