This Doodle’s Key Themes
Welcome to Day 16 of the Doodle Snow Games! On this brrr-eezy day in PyeongChang, we're joined by athletes from all over the world hoping to prove themselves best in class (or species).
Let’s follow Magpie into the rink for a fluttering glimpse of today’s action…
Octopus dominates the free skate program today, playing to an enthusiastic corral of sea-fans. Facing stiff competition, Octo attempts the world’s first double-quad and lands swimmingly, changing the tide of figure skating forever.
While the adoring afish-ionados in the crowd do the Wave, the judges get Kraken on adding up points for the technical feet. Giant Squid awards Octopus a perfect eight out of eight, but Gator siphons off a point.
Asked about the perfect mark, Giant Squid says, “Gill-ty as charged, I’m a sucker for jet propulsion!”
Even with the range of scores, Octopus picks up another shiny win!
Stop by tomorrow to catch the final action as we wrap up the Doodle Snow Games!
