Absentee Voting Reminder 2017 (Germany)
This Doodle’s Key Themes
Voting is important to Germans, which is why Germany has made it easy for you to cast your ballot no matter where you’ll be on election day. Even if you’ll be far from the polls on Election Sunday, citizens are encouraged to submit an absentee vote (“Briefwahl”) before the Bundestag elections take place.
German voters will be deciding on a new parliament on Sunday, September 24. This parliament will then be responsible for electing the next Chancellor.
Don’t forget to register to vote, Germany!
