2016 Doodle Fruit Games - Day 7
This Doodle’s Key Themes
Today marks the 7th day of the 2016 Doodle Fruit Games! For the next couple of weeks, we’ll journey to an otherwise unassuming fruit stand in Rio, where produce from all over the market competes for the title of freshest fruit. To play along, get the latest Google app on Android or iOS, and tap the Doodle. Learn more at g.co/fruit and let the games begin!
And now, a report from the field covering Day 7 of the action...
We're juiced for today's featured event: BMX! Coconut's been a bit of an underfruit this year, but we expect it to get heated out there on those jumps. Watching this fruit shred the dunes, it’s clear that destiny has plucked Coconut from its tree and set it on a path to Fruit Games gold. According to friends and family, from the time Coconut was still green, everyone could see that this BMXer was intended for so much more than a fruit basket.
“When I got on the bike, I never looked back. I could feel it deep under my husk. The wind in my hairs as I'm catching air on a jump is like nothing else in this great big fruit bowl of ours,” shares Coconut.
Will Coconut be toasted or will it prove it’s the cream of the crop? One thing's for sure: this well-rounded competitor is ready to roll.
Come back for the next couple weeks to keep up with all the action from the 2016 Doodle Fruit Games!
